Poor Quality Control

I am currently renovating a bathroom as a hired contractor and was planning to install this tub this morning. While beginning to install the drain kit, we noticed that we could see light coming through a section of the lower front side wall. Upon further inspection it is clear that there is a fairly large section of the tub that was improperly coated with fiberglass reinforcement. Shining a flashlight behind the tub shows just how thin the coating is. There is also very noticeable flexing of the tub in this spot, enough where I decided not to install it for fear of it cracking in the future and causing a string of MAJOR issues, including water damage, the need to remove floor and wall tiles, etc. We were very fortunate to find this issue prior to install, however this put a significant setback on the progress of this particular job.
