It arrived, looking scraggly, but I turned it up and gave it to miracle grow and it's doing nicely now. Sadly, perhaps I didn't read the description closely enough, but it is one of the older types of knockout rose. The newer knockout roses are self cleaning and don't need constant deadhead. I just bought from Walmart a pretty knockout rose “tree“ and several yellow knockout roses that are called“easy breezy“ I haven't received them yet so I can't comment. But I do have one of the newer knockout roses that I purchased from Walmart and it is different from the older knockout roses. When the blooms fade, they fall off or they are very easy to snip.
