Klymit Static V Sleeping Pad Durable Camping Inflatable Mattress, Green

We bought this sleeping pad for my camping novice 12-year-old to sleep on at camp. First off, it packs down to an astonishing size and with a couple of practice sessions she was able to effectively deflate, fold, and pack it back into its sleeve with ease. It may be that she is using 12-year-old lungs, but it did not inflate in the 10 breaths other reviewers have raved about. That said, it took less than 90 seconds and was not laborious or tiring. She has found it added a meaningful level of comfort when she slept on it for a couple of nights on a cot prior to her departure to camp. It seems like a good product and good value. Its durability should be more assessable when she returns home next week. One factor affecting my purchase was the lifetime warranty. I assume that if she comes home and it has had any damage or destruction I will be able to get it replaced, which made it easier to pull the fifty dollar trigger. One thing I didn't love was the total lack of instructions included. I know it's just a sleeping pad and the valve is not confusing or difficult to operate, but some other reviews mentioned damaging it or concerns related to overinflation and I expected to find some clear recommendations regarding those concerns. There was also no instructions or instrional videos that I could easily find on their website. Just a lot of promotional material. Even YouTube had no clear material that was obviously from the company. This was a little disconcerting. We have not had any issues with overinflation so far, fingers crossed that it continues to do well with my daughter.

Convenient. Reliable. I like how klymit has a lifetime limited warranty. I accidentally over inflated it looking for a small leak and caused a bunch of leaks. Happy with this light, summery camp pad.
