I was looking for a budget subwoofer to pair with my Klipsch RP-600. In my case size was a factor as it could be no taller than 14 1/2 inches tall. I entertained several other options , including JBL, Monoprice, and Polk, ultimately going with the Klipsch. I'm so very happy with my choice. The size is perfect. It's very powerful and has plenty of adjustments that helped me to dial it in appropriately. I only have 30 minutes or so on it at present and can't wait to see what it sounds like after being properly broken in.

Happy listener

Have two paired in all klipsch reference 7.2 system. Had to adjust crossovers and set to -3 DB. Punch hard and better than expected with Gain at 10, and I've never felt the subs were near their limits. More than enough!!!

Subwoofer kicks

Can't say enough how this speaker has performed. It thrills me every time I crank up the system. I've never had a subwoofer in my living room before and it brings me to tears to hear the impact that all these years I've missed from my old collection of CDs. I'm bringing them out again like they're brand new. I used Dire Straits Money for Nothin' as a test track and when the groove kicked in I literally cried.
