Klean Strip Aircraft EAD909 Decal and Adhesive Remover, 15 oz Aerosol Can, Water White, Liquid

My son bought this product to de-badge his pick up truck as part of a High School shop class. He chose this product because it clearly states “Works on Automotive Finishes, Class, Chrome and Metal bumpers”. With the help of his teacher they applied the product per the manufacturer instructions and almost immediately the product destroyed the paint, all the way down to the metal. We contacted the manufacturer immediately and provided all the information including photos of the damage. After months of no information and runaround, they informed us they would not do anything to fix the issue because the packaging states “It may not be possible to remove all types of decals without damage to the paint due to the variety of automotive finishes”. Essentially saying it was our fault for not testing it on an inconspicuous area first. So I do NOT recommend this product and caution anyone to use at your own risk.
