GE® 1/2 HP Continuous Feed Garbage Disposer - Non-Corded model provides power grinding at over 2600 RPM. The 1/2 HP motor quickly hits max speed and high torque so that foods are less likely to jam or clog. With stainless steel grinding components and a 31-ounce chamber capacity, this is the model you need for all your food disposal needs. Our Drain Boost Technology uses an angled fin to pump water down with more force which help clear drains and reduce clogs. Installation is a breeze with fewer parts and steps. A 3- bolt mount adapter kit is included in the box. Optional power cord is sold seperately - model WC12X10002 or corded model is avilable - GFC535N.

Works Great
We replaced a previous GE disposal (which was still working) with this larger/heavier duty one when we replaced our kitchen countertop and sink. It does an excellent job grinding waste in very short period of time. FYI - We don't put a lot through the disposal. It was a fairly easy install but we had to do some reconfiguration of water pipes since it was larger than our previous one.

This product is simple for installation
Not being a plumber or electrician, this product was so simple to install. Had more problems taking the old one off than putting this one in. Also quite surprised on how quiet this disposal is when running. Very pleased with this purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
