Excellent Support

My five star rating is for the fantastic support I received in trying to get the adapter to work with my Surface Pro 4. Unfortunately it still does not work, but not for lack of patience and a very professional effort at troubleshooting. Microsoft seems to have an issue with the Mini-display port on that machine they have yet to fix.

If you have the right Mac...

The few (high-end) Macs listed can change signal format on their (squared-D) socket to run an UltraHD sometimes called 4K, screen at 24 or 30 frames per second. Only works for Apple's portables with the new "ThunderBolt version 3" feature.
