26” 3D Infrared Quartz Electric Fireplace Insert with Safer Plug® and Safer Sensor™

I own an AirBnB and I had to replace a gas log with something that customers expecting a gas log wouldn't complain about. This fit the bill perfectly. I chose this model because it has the most individual settings for the flames and my guests would not have any trouble finding a flame type, speed, and intensity to suit their wishes. At 1500 Watts, the unit draws 12.5 Amps which is lucky for me because I didn't want to have to install a dedicated outlet if it consumed any more power. It came assembled, and the big chore was removing the housing for the old gas log. The Classic Flame, this new unit, went in like a breeze. Our gas log had a larger opening, so we used painted sheet metal to cover the gap and it ended up taking very little time and looking fine. I was happy it comes in different sizes because the largest fit my 36" opening perfectly.
