There is no battery, it works on wire and there is a notch to place the device, the only downside is that you might require a dual connection adapter for the device which can be expensive

Handy keyboard
I am using this keyboard to write this review on my Acer Chromebook Tab 10 and it works great. The keyboard is solidly built and I like the feel of the keys. It holds the tablet at just the right viewing angle and has some features that make using the tablet easier. I only wish it had a touch pad, but overall, I am glad I made the purchase.
