Not impressed

My plumber just installed this unit. The trim cap is cheap plastic and has a large hole in the bottom - which creates a cavity for things to grow and collect. I have other Grohe products that are great products - which is why I went with Grohe in my recent bathroom renovation. This one is disappointing.

Hello, thank you for the feedback on this product. Unfortunately this is how all of our wall unions are designed and made. The hole on the bottom of the union allows a wider range for the pipe to fit into for your hose connection.
