I purchased this for my great nephew's first birthday. He absolutely it ! I had also purchased for my grandson's first birthday who is now 8 and the ship is just as good as when I purchased it . My son uses this toy as his table (he uses the seat as a table), his pirate chest (it has a little storage compartment) and as an actual pirate ship for his toys. He also likes to ride it from one area of the house to the next. He has not let this toy out if his site since he opened the present. Definitely recommended for all toddlers who love pirates!
