I stumbled upon these jars by chance a few years ago when our dairy started using them for milk. Now I use them for storing grains, freeze dried goods that I prepare, nuts, seeds and so many other items in my pantry. I got sick of bags that leaked or would end up getting air and spoil quickly and I really needed better organization with keeping my jars consistent so they fit well on the shelf. These jars are fantastic and I love freeze drying onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers as it holds the freshness consistently over more than a year until I restock. I use a vacuum sealer and these lids hold. I also use them to store our smoothie ingredients so it is easy to pull and pour. They are nice and tall so I don't lose space on my shelves. Well made, high quality and reusable for years. I have not found a better price anywhere and I have looked since I buy so many of them. It has been a game changer for organizing my pantry items - really organizes my storage of everything from flour to snaking nuts.
