of all the basic charcoals on the market it's the best in flavor and smoke. it last a long time, so you have time to cook meats that require longer cooking times. it's a better value. you can always add different woods for your favorite flavors to the charcoal without problems also.

We will never use any other charcoal

My household barbecues and smokes meat often and Kingsford briquettes are our go-to standard. We tried some of the other brands but came running right back to the regular Kingsford. The briquettes hold up well on both high heat and slow burn. The double bag is less expensive than the supermarket. We will never use anything else.
