There is no generic alternative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely essential and irreplaceable. I keep these on my countertop for makeup, cleaning, and personal care. And only Q-Tip branded swabs will do. I don't care about brand for cotton balls or hair ties, but this essential item is always, always branded. Perfectly amount of cotton and it doesn't shed or fall apart when I'm detailing my manicure with acetone or cleaning buildup from hairbrushes.
