Charbroil Analog Electric Smoker

Packaging was excellent, arrived with no blemishes. The 1st clean-out the temperature went way above the 350F mark. My 1st and only use so far was baby back ribs.. Its been raining forever is So. Cal;if. It started smoking within 10 minutes, I only filled the wood chip tray about a 3rd full, so my smoke was less than an hour. I ended up with the dial on the controller a little bit less than 2.5 to keep the temperature from over shooting. I got some tasty ribs. falling off the bone so I overcooked. I now have a meat temperature prob that I can montor the cooking process better.. Clean up was a breeze, everything fits in the dishwasher. The cons. Its not easy to move about. It needs some wheels. The accessory cover for the digital smoker fits like a glove.

I've had this analog smoker for several weeks and I'm really impressed. I had a Charbroil digital for many years, and it served me well, but needed a new smoker and this one was a good price. I also read a lot of good reviews so wanted to give it a try. Although I was concerned at first with managing the temp with an analog smoker, from the first time I used it, the temp stayed true and the food turned out great. I did have to learn to not overfill the wood chips, but still didn't impact the results. Overall really happy with my choice and I'm getting a lot of use from my new smoker.
