Kichler Lighting - LED Flush Mount - Flush Mount Light - Pira - 28.5W 1 LED

We have been working on a new closet and updating bathrooms. I was very fortunate to speak to Shannon , a designer for Lamps Plus. Her recommendations were perfect for our updates and work beautifully in our spaces. I will only hope to have her very professional help on the next room we remodel.

I got Pira 15” LED to light the small hallway at the top of the stairs and so far I'm very happy. It was needed to replace a low hanging glass and gold/bronze fixture from at least the 90s (maybe more). This new look is much more appealing and opens the space quite a bit with the low profile and flush mounting! The amount of light is perfect for the location I chose as there are other lights nearby and the hallway is not very big. It may be a bit dark or need several of these lights if you were to try to light a larger space like a dining room, but it is a fixture that I think would look quite cool and modern with 2-3 over a dining table. The only thing I'm unsure about is the longevity of the fixture. As far as I can tell, there are no bulbs to replace so when the LEDs go out, the fixture must be replaced. I did read before ordering that LED fixtures do last a long time (years longer than a standard bulb), so hopefully I won't have to think about it for a long time, but it will be unfortunate to replace when the LEDs die. However, maybe the improved energy efficiency of the LEDs for the time that they last will make up for the expense of replacing. I am very happy with my order so far!
