Kerrygold Naturally Softer Grass-Fed Pure Irish Butter, 8 Oz Tub

This is the best butter in the world as far as I am concerned. It adds the best flavor to everything. We won’t use anything but Kerrygold Irish butter. It’s worth every penny.

If you know Kerrygold, then you know there is no other better butter. I have found that of the various forms that Kerrygold butter comes in, this is most definitely the best form. It does have a softer consistency that is much easier to spread, which is nice. But also, it doesn't tend to oxidize as easily as the sticks or blocks do. This is in part due to the somewhat airtight lid, but I think also that whatever way they make the butter softer also doesn't absorb oxygen as much as the hard forms. It's probably a trade secret how they do this while still claiming to use the same ingredients as the hard forms. If you were looking at reviews and trying to decide if this would be a worthwhile buy, I'd say that you're most likely not going to be disappointed. 🙂
