QUIT

I had mine for little over a year. It just would not power on. It was a month or so out of warranty. It was not used daily and never more than three external hard drives at a time had power to them. I powered them up one by one to avoid operating system confusion. It did not slow down my computer . You do not leave these extras powered up during boot up. Common sense will tell you that. That will slow down boot up quiet a bit. They are all saying me first. It worked great until it stopped. I am going to try the Tripp Lite now because it stands upright . Also always contact the manufacturer of any on line purchase about the mfg. warranty . All the websites I checked say lifetime warranty. Tripp Lite says there warranty is one year also not lifetime.

normal minuit takes 30

I recently purchased a PocketHub™ 7-Port USB from walmart and it has slowed sown my computer termendusly. Startup useally takes 1 minuite but with your devise it takes about 30 minuites. You can see that is a nonacceptable problem. I did plug it in the lite was on it was connected to several external hard drives with there power off. I'm using Win-7. Will be returning.
