Keeper 85454 Tie-Down, 1 in W, 14 ft L, Black, 500 lb Working Load, S-Hook End

I got a black pair and a green / chrome pair of Keeper straps. I already own quite a few Keeper tie downs that I keep in my truck, but I wanted some for home use. Parts of the reviews will be the same except for the strap details. I often let people borrow my truck and then get stuck without straps when I need them around my home. I decided I wanted a couple of ratcheting tie down straps for my house and shed. I always have some sort of project I am working on or heavy lifting I need to do, and I never have anyone to give me a hand. I use my hand truck, garden cart, and commercial cart all the time. The problem is rolling stuff over my bumpy yard. If you ever tried moving a heavy, over sized item over rough terrain, then you know what I'm talking about. Once the item starts to tip, it's going down. That's why I got 2 pairs of straps so I can keep a pair with my dolly and a pair with my cart. The 500 lbs working limit is more than enough for my needs. I just received a 12 x 12 deck I need to assemble and some new outdoor furniture. The deck is made of steel and has a bunch of big heavy pieces. Being able to strap them down on the cart allows me to move quite a bit all at once and saves me time. I don't have to worry about anything falling off or tipping over and getting damage. I was also able to move a box that had an outdoor couch in it. I could never have done that without straps because it was too big for my hand truck. These black ratchet tie downs are 1" wide by 14' long. The straps have durable webbing with edges that are treated with a hard plastic coating. They are also abrasion-resistant, cut-resistant, and exceed DOT requirements. I really like the handle on these straps. They will easily accommodate any size hands and give a great grip. The ratchet is nice and smooth. These are well made and durable. I really like the handle on this product. They are wide enough to ensure the safety and make sure it's secure. The greatest benefit would be that these are made from webbing to give that extra strength you would expect.
