These work boots feature a KEEN.DRY waterproof, breathable membrane and a heat-resistant KEEN.ToughSole outsole rated up to 250°F/121°C. Assembled in the USA with globally sourced materials, they use KEEN.FUSION construction for a strong, glue-free bond. The contoured heel guard adds protection, while the nylon shank provides midfoot support. Made from environmentally preferred leather and treated with a PFAS-free water repellent, these boots resist chemicals and offer electrical hazard protection. The KEEN Luftcell midsole ensures all-day comfort, and the removable metatomical insole provides added support.

Comfortable, durable, nice looking boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in new construction and these boots have held up well. It recently snowed in my area I shoveled snow in these boots with 0 water penetrating them. The quick lacing system takes a bit of getting used to but I can't say that it's bothered me all too much. I'd buy these again

Comfortable
I've owned about 7-8 pairs of Keen work shoes over the years and always been pleased with the comfort and longevity. These are the first Keen boots I've had and so far they are just as comfortable as always. Time will tell how they hold up to rugged outdoor/woods work.

Top notch comfort, perfect fit, light, durable
Great fitting boots that are lightweight, durable and most importantly one of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. The tie for most comfortable boots is with the 3 pairs Keen Cincinnatis I've owned which are great boots also but definitely more bulky and cumbersome than the independence. The waterproofing is working well and kept my feet dry in about 7" of rapidly flowing water while cleaning out a storm drain during a flash flood event. Only one bad thing to say about these is that the speed hooks are too tight making them not so speedy, but thats a minor annoyance that only affects lacing up the boot. I think Keen should enter the pull on boot market, I'd say around 50% of construction workers in the southeast our wearing pull-on square toe boots and from what I've tried that market could use the comfort your boots bring to the table.
