These One time Keebler Zesta Saltines are now called Kellogg's Zesta Saltines, and they arrived in mint condition. I didn't just buy them for my fella and me. I bought them to share with my neighbors. They are as fresh as fresh can be. It did floor me, though, that they were not enclosed in a plastic bag to protect them a little better inside the box, so I emptied it into 16"x20" produce bags, put them back in the box, secured the box on every flap and corner like I do all boxes that will be used for long term storage, with Gorilla tape. I always do that when buying bulk goods. Then I made pull tabs of Gorilla tape to be able to close and re-open the box without tearing it by cutting pieces of Gorilla tape with the ends folded on themselves. So, when you stick it to the seams, which are also covered in Gorilla tape, they don't tear the box. and I gave my neighbor friend a big bag and was going to give another neighbor some, but he declined. Well. I already gave him a big bag of Graham crackers I bought in bulk. They have little kids. I have enough to give all my neighbors plenty, too, plus, I filled a giant repurposed Mac's Pork Rinds container full of crackers for our home. I have another giant Mac's container that I filled full of Graham crackers. These are small investments to assure we always have crackers to last over a whole year or more without worry. The packets do not say Keebler Zesta anymore. They say Kellogg's Zesta and they taste great. Better than the other leading brands, for real. I switched on purpose from Nabisco because they hit a new low a good while back. They are all thin and curved and when you try to put peanut butter on them, it's just not great. Nobody is paying me to say that. I only endorse what I truly like.
