Not for pet birds

It's super strong. I don't know what are they adding into it because my cockatiel couldn't take a bite of it, so I try to gave it to wild birds in my yard but it didn't hit against whit concrete wall and suddenly injured my finger.Finally I break it with hammering hardly but I'm still so curious what type of material are they using which is stranger than concrete
