OH NO.

The other reviewer can be thankful they didnt eat it. I bought one at markdown with a day or two left. It is awful. Who doesn't love the little cheese balls rolled in almonds. That's always been a holiday stand-by. Since they cut the size down, by half and kept the ptice the same, the last one I got was for New Years Eve. Regular cheddar with nuts, it was great and was finished up at New Yesrs dinner. I got the garlic and herb one for Easter. We love garlic and we love herb and often buy a spread from another manufacturer that lasts 2-3 meal times. But, this is just bad. I wondered if it had been made with the smelly stuff from Getmany, Limburger. The flavor does not improve once mixed with digestive juices in your mouth. It gets worse, until the unavoidable happens. Now, I believe a food has not been msde thet can cut the results left in your mouth. Nothing mixes with it to take the taste away. I say, let them all expire. Unless you are fond of the flavor and odor of pungent fresh regurgitation, I'd leave this for the Limburger cheese lovers. I like brie, stilton, even mild bleu and the more common plus obscure imported cheeses. Used to live in Wisconsin. But, No. Never. I'm not even sure saltines would break down the residual flavor/odor. I did not take a deep inhalation of this lovely looking cheese ball. The appearance reminded me of the lovely homemade Swiss ball from my local butcher and cheese shop. Just save your money and buy an exquisite chocolat bar from Europe instead.
