I bought this brush for my daughter, who is very tender headed. Her hair is really thick and long (down to the back of her knees). I saw it was supposed to work great for tangles, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was pricey, but I figured if it was supposed to do what it claimed, then it would be worth the money. So, I purchased it, and it does live up to what it claims. I am able to brush my daughter's hair with no more tears or pain. She says it still hurts sometimes, but not like the other brushes. I also noticed that there is less hair that falls out (stuck in the brush). I noticed that there is less breakage to her hair as well. So far, it has been a good brush.
