It works great. The product comes with a water measuring cup that also provides egg shell piercing for hard boiled eggs. My favorite choice is poached eggs where the whites are thoroughly cooked, but the yolks still liquid. This is a little tricky, but if you pay strict attention to water measurement, it will always turn out as planned. Be careful when removing the top cover immediately after cooking. Wait a bit. Hot steam can burn your hands. Also, I use a margarine spray ahead of placing the cracked eggs into the plastic rack. It facilitates easier removal without sticking or disturbing the yolk. It is also very easy to clean.

This thing is great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love medium boiled eggs but I never know how long to keep them boiling so they usually come out too hard or too soft. With this egg maker I don't have to worry about that anymore. Just set it and keep doing what you were doing. Perfect eggs every time. This is perfect for someone like me who isn't much a chef. I haven't tried to make poached eggs yet but I soon will.

makes eggs fun to make
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this thing is great! it makes life easier in the morning when i need to multi-task. 2- egg omelet with cheese is whats in the photos. but the other eggs we made were just as great. took a little bit longer than i expected, maybe 5 minutes? but it tasted great and you don't have to keep an eye on it like you would on the stove.
