Great faucet, but hands free is a myth unless you are OK with wasting water!

But be aware it runs for 2 minutes before hands free turns off. I bought it to 1) save water and 2) keep hands from the faucet - hygiene. This wastes a lot of water and then people get confused and turn the faucet off manually so the handsfree does not work for "on" either. It failed in both categories. I am a big Kohler fan, but this faucet let me down.

Do not buy this faucet

We bought 2 of these for my boys baths because we thought they would be easier to use. I thought they would operate like public bathrooms and turn on with movement and immediately off when no movement is sensed. But you have to wave your hand in a downward motion under the faucet to get it to turn off which is awkward. Why is there an extra step? Makes it more of a hassle to use than a traditional faucet. And if you don't it stays on for 2 minutes?? Who decided that?? 15 seconds would have been too long. Total miss by Kohler. I would return them but not worth the cost of having the plumber back out.
