That was the mindset of our designer when she transformed our iconic hybrid sandal into an open-toe, active wedge sandal with a womens-specific fit and slip-resistant grip. The Astoria West Open Toe Sandal for women is built off KEENs traditional wider footwear form. KEEN products are consciously created using a natural, probiotic-based technology called Eco Anti-Odor for breaking down odor in sweat, PFC-free water repellent in applicable styles and leather sourced from Leather Working Group LWG-certified tanneries. I love these shoes!
I'm always a bit leary of purchasing shoes online, but I was intrigued by the Astoria sandal. I saw the close toe first and was considering it, but decided to go with the open-toe style. I love them so much I may opt for a pair of the closed toe Astoria! My feet tend to get very tired and achy if my shoes don't have enough support in the sole and footbed. The Keen Astoria is the perfect blend of cushy yet firm support! The velcro straps allow you to adjust as needed - snug when I first put them on and loosen and the day goes on. Very comfortable!

WOMEN'S ASTORIA WEST OPEN-TOE SANDALS
Absolutely amazing. I am currently walking the Camino in Spain in these sandals from new doing approx 20 miles per day. No blisters, sores or pressure marks at all. I feel like buying 5 more pairs to see my hiking days out. They are amazing! Well done Keen.

BEST. EVER.
Shoes are perfectly sized (height, width, length) and they're adjustable so you literally get the perfect fit. Arch support is gradual and present but not overwhelming; it curves with the foot (not a random lump in the bottom of my foot like other shoes I've tried). Bend with every step and minimal effort, make for a smooth ride even on rocky surfaces. These are my new GO TO shoes! Merrell has moved to second place for the time being haha- def. recommend these.
