These pads are great for both people and pets. The pads are a bit stiff at first, but they get softer and more comfortable with every cycle through the washer and dryer until they get to be like just super soft quilts. They are very absorbent and prevent wet spots in the bed. For pets, I just put 4 down with the edges overlapping to cover the whole bed surface.

Really great product, even though it gives the dimensions I truly didn't realize how large this was. It's great. You don't need more than one pad. It's long and wide enough for full coverage. It's also thin %26 comfortable. Makes for better sleep! The lady I care for just absolutely loves it l, so we ordered another one.!
