My 2015 Cherokee with the 3.2L V6 is only 4 weeks old and has 3,000 KM on it. On my trip odometer I was averaging 10.3 - 10.5 L/100KM (27.4-26.9 mpg)combined, albeit that's 95% highway travel. I popped in a new K&N filter, made the exact same trip back and forth the next day (160 KM round trip) and my mileage instantly jumped up to 9.1-9.3 L/100KM (30.9 - 30.37 mpg). The engine also seemed a little more responsive but I'm not sure if that may have been my imagination because the difference is very slight. But I was surprisingly stunned at the increase in gas mileage, that was an 11.33% increase instantly...amazing to say the least.
