I just installed the K & N system on my 2004 4.6 Ford Explorer. My gas mileage has improves around town by 2 mpg & 4 mpg on highway. The throttle response is amazing. I can tell HP has improved. I have a performance rear end so it really moves for an SUV. Next step s to get filter for my 1997 Acura 3.5 RL with only 49,000 miles. Just a great product.

Fantastic product, perfect fit installed myself in less then twenty minutes. As far as horsepower gain, instantly noticed with acceleration as I don't have the equipment to give actual numbers. I have three other cars besides the 04 explorer 4.6l and over time all will be K & N equipped.
