Just For Men Color Preserve & Strengthen Shampoo - 8 oz, Dark Shades

With the hint of color this shampoo does a a pretty good job preserving dark hair color. My hair does feel a little stronger and thicker despite being quite damaged. The shampoo also smells great! The product was a little difficult to find in the store. I assumed it would be with all the other Just For Men hair color products, but it was not even on the same aisle. For some reason, it is with the razors, shave gel, and beard care products.

This product has a pleasant scent and I have no complaints regarding its shampoo/conditioner function. The main benefit over traditional shampoos is the ability to maintain hair coloring (the shampoo itself has a black color at least for the darker shades version). While I cannot yet say whether this claim makes it worth the additional cost it does certainly set it apart. Also of note I found this product in the shaving/beard section even though most of the advertising shows use on scalp hair. This is probably to have it on the same aisle as hair dyes. I think for somebody who is just looking to use on their beard it makes the decision to try a bit easier since even though the bottle is smaller it will likely last longer if just used on beard area.
