Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital)

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle on 4K UHD and Blu-Ray is a fun, imaginative film from 2017. A reboot of sorts of the 1995 version of Jumanji starring Robin Williams, this version reverses the concept and sees characters from the real world enter a game world (presented here as an ultra-realistic video game instead of a board game) instead of the other way around. The result is a fun film that focuses on several teenage characters taking on the roles of different adult characters in the game, having to work together to escape while learning more about themselves along the way. Being a more recent film, it looks wonderful in 4K UHD with a sharp, colorful image and a fun soundtrack. Though most reboots try too hard and end up being a shallow version of the original, this one does a great job of forging its own path, with a unique take on the same concept.
