Great for heavy work

It's powerful and great stitches. Setup was difficult as the videos show a different table and motor than came with the machine but once done it's fantastic. It doesn't replace a domestic machine as you use size up to 12 needle and this would be at least 14 to 22.

Highly recommend! The Juki DU-1118 is awesome!

I was a little Leary about buying this machine because of a few negative reviews. This is the first time I have attempted to set up an industrial sewing machine, and found it challenging, but do able. There were no directions included, however, there were several videos on YouTube that provided enough information to lead me to a successful set-up. All the parts were included, I didn't have to run down to the hardware store for missing parts and/or screws. I believe the most helpful video was the Philippine Juki technician. He showed step by step how to attach the servo motor. I must have assembled it correctly because I am sewing with success.
