Great for indoors or outdoors. You can use it separately or tie it together. I personally like it separately as my grandson enjoyed sitting in the tent part reading his books and the square and tube tied together he enjoyed too. A little difficult to try to refit back into its bag. When you take it out make sure you look at how it is scrunched up to fit back in the bag!!!
