I was so tired of my costly mainstream dish soap quitting before half-time. When something was really greasy, it didn't even make it through the first quarter reliably. Then I remembered the lemon-scented dish soap of my childhood with its gently floating bubbles in the sunshine. I bought some Joy, and what a joy it has been! The scent isn't quite the same as I remember from back then, but the performance is what really matters. While other brands lose their suds quickly, Joy cuts through grease with surprising power, and a little bit goes a long way. It may not get through a huge mountain of dishes, but it certainly outperforms the pricey competitors I used before. I'm not sure why it's so hard to find in stores. Perhaps it's not as gentle on the hands, but I'll gladly wear dish gloves if it means I can stop wasting money and elbow grease on less effective products.
