Great product

Excellent pita that is low carb and calorie, they are also a good source of fiber,. I use them for tuna, chicken And roast beef. A good way to lose weight.

Smartest change I ever made...

Couple years ago, I was diagnosed with high cholesterol, 215. My father passed away at age 41 from heart attack and I am now 37. Needless to say, I decided to make some changes in my life. I used to eat anywhere from 2 - 4 slices of white sandwich bread every day. I used to drink whole milk and soft drinks like Sprite and Pepsi. One of the changes I made was this Joseph's Pita bread. I could not believe how good it tasted and I was upset with myself for not finding out about it sooner. This change, along with moving to Fat Free milk and no soft drinks went a long way to reducing my cholesterol down to 185 from 215. I am thoroughly convinced that this bread is helping prolong my life and it tastes better than any sandwich bread I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, our Walmart here in Leitchfield, KY has decided not to carry it anymore. So now I am having to drive 35 miles to another Walmart. If I have to, I will continue to make the trip, it matters that much.

Love it!!!

This is a fantastic product. As someone who is on a low carb diet (down 150 lbs.), I don't *do* bread. This product is a great substitute when I need something to take the place of bread! I heat them in the oven and cut them into wedges for dips too! I highly recommend this product and am deeply grateful to Walmart for carrying healthy alternatives and bringing them to areas of the country that might not have them available!

Best Pita Bread Find!

I've recently been watching what I eat and Pita bread was recommended to me for sandwiches and such. Out of all the pita breads in the store I found this to be the lowest in calories, highest in protein, and highest in fiber...the price was unbeatable as well! I am very happy to have my sandwiches on this as opposed to two slices of bread any day.

We love these pita breads! They are more flexible than any of the other pita breads I have tried, so no breaking. We use them for everything....individual pizzas, PBJ sandwiches, and the usual hummus scooping, gyro holding, falalel eating things. They certainly don't taste like 60 calories! The only problem is my store is very sporadic at stocking them and then they move them all over the place. I bet if they had a product demonstration they would become a hit!

1. Unfortunately, most WalMarts have dropped most low carb items. The West coast stores carry less than any others due to the fact that most of the manufacturers of the products are on the East coast. However, www.netrition.com carries this product, along with another variety of it. Try them. Or check with some of your local "health food" stores, but their prices may be so high that online shopping, even with shipping, is a better deal.

2. They ship from josephsbakery.com

3. My Walmart also no longer carries these. They do carry the lavash bread and I have found they work for me. If you are dead set on the pita bread or your store does not carry lavash bread; try going straight to the source. http://www.josephsbakery.com/ I think a case of 5 packages run 14.95 less shipping but either way you can order reasonable sized cases of this product from the actual company who makes it.

4. I had the same problem. I went on line and found them at carbkrunchers.com. Hope this helps

5. the manufacturer's website is josephsbakery.com. I hope Walmart will read all the 5 star reviews and keep this product on their shelves! I think they should move it from the Deli department to the Bread department -- maybe people will see it more and buy more.

6. You can buy many products directly from Joseph's Bakery at www.josephsbakery.com.

7. I was told the same about Walmart discontinuing this item. What a shame. I have found that they can be ordered online from josephsbakery.com. Not as convient as picking it up at Walmart. What a shame walmart doesn't read product reviews before deciding to discontinue a quality item.

8. I am still getting them at Walmart but have occasionally found them at Kroger.
