Better than I usually purchase

For prepackaged Italian Sausage, it is hard to beat, just wish the price was a bit more in my budget range. Got this as a home delivery substitute, less fat, better spiced than great value,, did buy it on a regular basis before prices out paced income and you make price or eliminate your choice. Thanks Walmart for reminding me of better days.

I was originally buying and storing Johnsonville's wrapped sausages for when my cousin visited. She'd go through a package of the Italian mild dogs each week. Because her stays grew fewer, I decided to remove the skins and try the ground sausage in my spaghetti sauce ( with the 90/10 ground beef). It was "the rave"! These days, I buy it ground (no skins to remove) and use it all of the time as a second meat sauce in my sauce. I have to make a stock pot of sauce and share it with family and friends. They cook their own choices of pasta. REMEMBER: Drain the fat from each meat component before adding them to the sauce. 🫠

Good product for the price

Never had a problem with this product after buying it from different vendors for 15 years. Buying from Walmart was not any different! The sausage is always good and I usually take the casing off and mix it with ground beef to make meatballs. I'm Scotch-Irish, so don't all of my Italian grandmothers faint all at once if it's not traditional! LOL
