Very good flavor. I added a 1 red and 1 yellow pepper, as well as about a third of an onion . After adding those items, there was a lot of food. Easily enough for four people. The meat was a little bit fattier than I prefer, however it was very tender. Perhaps the fat is necessary. Overnight it was pretty good. I would buy it again. Everyone said it was great. None went to waste.

I like to make sandwiches with this as it is real beef, not over processed, and it has real home cooked beef flavor. No msg or nitrates or other unhealthy chemicals, it is tenderized with bromelein and papain, ingredients from pineapple and papaya. It has a peppery seasoning, that goes well with avocado and tomatoes in sandwiches. There are some chewy bits in some of it— common in all but the most expensive steak, so I do not consider that a problem. Sometimes there is a bigger gristle in one of the larger pieces. When I cook roasts, I cut those out as these are usually visible then. So that is one thing I think this company can do better. But I enjoy this and it is much quicker than buying a tri tip or other cut and prepping and cooking and freezing it— saves me hours of time. Plus It tastes much better than most beef in other frozen meals too.
