John Deere 42-inch Deck Drive Belt GX20072

John Deere belts are made with Kevlar which gives them an added boost of strength. I have replaced these numerous times over the years and appreciate their quality. I have been known to abuse them by using my mower to 'bush hog' small branches, etc in the woods near our house. This branches can get hung between the belt and the pulleys, causing them to jump track and damage them. Nevertheless, these hold up pretty well to that, but not, of course, flawlessly. Hence I probably replace them every 2 years or so, whereas if I were just mowing grass I don't know that I'd ever have to replace them. Good belts. Good construction
