Hold off on handling the boat until all the glue has fully dried and cured. Then enjoy playing with or displaying your handmade project! This DIY activity unisex toy promises every child a chance to build, play, and flourish. The wooden pieces are semi-waterproof, so we recommend applying some wood sealant for longer play in water (not included). Be sure to be safe around big bodies of water and secure your included 10ft string to your boat so that you can float it down a river without losing it!

Great little activity for kids!
For the price, this is a great little activity. Our 5 year old boy enjoyed putting it together with his grandpa, and it took just the right amount of time to hold his attention. We did float it in a creek nearby. It floats ok, and 5 year old had fun. The glue turned white when it was wet in the creek, even though we let it dry for 24 hours before placing it in the creek, which makes me wonder if the glue would hold if it was continuously wet for a longer period. Overall, a great buy - amazing what you can get for 10-20 dollars.

Cute kit, fun to build and held up well. child was able to independently do most of the build and play with it after. still going strong. good educational aspects of wind/sailing too! Good for bathtub or lake fun!
