Microwave: Servings: 1 Serving; Stovetop: 1 serving; 4 servings; 6 servings; Microwave: Water: 1 Serving; Stovetop: 1-1/2 cups; 4-1/4 cup; 6-1/4 cups; Microwave: Water: 1 Serving; Stovetop: 1-1/2 cups; 4-1/4 cup; 6-1/4 cups; Microwave: Grits : 1/4 cup; Stovetop: 1/4 cups; 1 cup; 1-1/2 cups; Microwave: Salt( Optional) : pinch; Stovetop: pinch ; 1/4 cup; 1/2 tsp. Stovetop Directions :(1) Heat water to a boil in saucepan. (2) Stir in grits and salt; return to boil. (3) Cover, simmer over low low heat for 5 minutes, cook longer or shorter for thinner or thicker grits. Please use caution when preparing grits by either method. Oven safe mitts are recommended. Microwave directions (I serving): (1) Combine water, grits and salt in a 4 cup microwave-side bowl according to chart above for I serving only. All grits are not the same. Jim Dandy has its own trademark. The texture of the grit is more grit like—coarse and bold. Unlike some other brands that I've eaten, Jim Dandy is the grit I prefer. Easy to prepare, with cheese, bacon bits, added margarine, etc., and you save money with the 32 oz. bag.

I hope people are not leaving false reviews on these grits.. the truth being told is that the grits taste better than most other brands.. you must know how to boil and stir the grits and you just can't over-boil grits.. Jim Daddy has been my favorite brand for over 10 years.. Great quality and the taste is great as long as you do not over-boil your grits and they can't be watery grits... I boil my grits just right and my family like the brand and like how I boil grits.. They like the taste as much as I do..I feel so happy..
