Jiffy Natural & Organic Seed Starter Mix, 12 QT, Garden Soil

Seems the tniest seeds get lost in loose dirt. These seem to cradle them and keep them afloat until they get their first set of leaves. Not foolproof, but seems to help. And a thin layer of seed starter soil on top to provide nutrition. MIST them at first, multiple times per day. The pellets retain the moisture for the seeds. Good luck.

I can't tell how good a soil is, because I mostly use it to pot up extras after thinning and give them to neighbors. So I assume it works as they say the plants I give them grow well. I put some in the ground after transplanting too, and those don't always work well. So I'm not entirely sure what to think but maybe I shouldn't be adding it to the soil when I transplant outside from one spot to another.
