However, using RBS 750 satellites with the RBR 850 is not 100% compatible, since you have to use the default password of each satellite to connect a particular device to it if the device happens to be closest to that satellite. All satellites and router of 750 can use one password for all of them, likewise the same applies to all 850 units. But when connecting additional 750 satellites to 850 system, you can't use the password of 850 for the 750 satellites. 850 satellites are syncing well with 850 router using the same password for all satellites. You can't customize the password on 750 satellites either. It only gives you an option to use the default factory password. Other than that everything else seems to work fine. It has a better range than the 750 system. The units themselves are are bigger than 750 maybe by 10%. So, the two systems work together but they are not completely compatible. And when it comes to setting up a device, it can turn up tricky if you are not aware of those subtle things. When the device you're trying to connect to the WiFi, you're going to see all sorts of WiFi networks showing up in the network section if you've bundled 750 satellites together with 850 system. But if you're using only 850 router with its satellites then it will only show the router. You just select one router and one password for 850 system or 750 system when all units are of the same model. But when using two models together then you have to be keen to their individual connections.
