Wrong line suggested for the spool

It suggests a .80 line and also comes with .80 line. The problem with it is if you run .80 it will pull back into the spool every few minutes. You will have to manually feed it back through the eyelets (pain to do) because it stops feeding. I found that a quality .95 line fixes this issue. I have ran it for several days this way and not once have I had to fix it. I was going to give this a 1 but once I found a fix I'll make it a 3. I run DeWalt everything and this spool was the most disappointing product of all. Please fix it, you have a reputation to hold up.

SPOOL HEAD PLASTIC CAP

I AM STARTING TO SEE THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE SPOOL CAP AS THE OTHER REVIEWERS. MINE HASNT BROKE YET, BUT SOME OF THE PLASTIC HAS BROKE OFF THE SPOOL CAP. RESEACHED REPLACEMENT CAP AND SEE AS THE OTHERS THAT THE COMPLETE SPOOL HEAD IS THE ONLY REPLACEMENT OPTION. THE ABILITY TO FOLD THE UNIT FOR STORAGE IS A GREAT FEATUREOF THE TRIMMER.

Bump Feed Does Not Work

The concept of this is great. I have the 20V trimmer with the old head, and it drives me nuts to wind the thing manually. When this came out, I was super excited to get it. Unfortunately, there are like . . . six of these in the entire US, so I had to order mine from a dealer in NC (I'm in Ohio). I was really excited when it arrived. The feeding isn't as smooth as I was hoping, but it works. Unfortunately, it's not usable. Attempting to "bump" it only results in nothing happening, or even worse, the string actually *retracting* into the head. If that happens, good luck fixing it without unwinding the entire spool because of how the internal design is. It's a great concept, but the execution just sucks. From the other reviews on this, it looks like I'm not alone in my thoughts. So disappointing. Probably going back to the old head.
