Jealous devil 100% natural hardwood lump charcoal is made from the dense "axe breaker" hardwoods of Paraguay. Only hand selected pieces make it into every bag to ensure that you get the very best charcoal you can find. Our charcoal lights very quickly and is ready to grill within 15 minutes. It burns very hot, searing the meat and locking in the flavors, and it lasts longer than any other charcoal you can buy. Our charcoal is 100% natural - there are no chemicals, fillers, or scrap wood - we only use the best. Our charcoal also has a very mild, almost non-existent flavor profile allowing you to cook steaks, poultry, and even fish without compromising the flavor of your food. Taste what you cooked, not what you cooked it with! Jealous devil is also used by a number of premier restaurants around the globe. Jealous devil is produced sustainably in cooperation with the Paraguayan government and other organizations to ensure continued reforestation.
