Using a mason jar to store oil is ideal because it is so easy to clean and its compact size makes for easy storage. Just keep it in a cabinet to avoid light exposure. I'm very happy with this lid. It drips a little but does not make a huge mess either.

Not what I was expecting but still cool

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This was not necessarily what I was expecting! It does not come with any of the mason jar parts, just the oil dispenser that you put on top of your own jar and beneath your own mason jar lid ring. The spout is larger than I was expecting and it doesn't have any flow control so you need to manage the flow well if you only want a little at a time. It's a cool device though.
