Cool jar for decor or add solar or battery lights.

Very dark, I expected them to be more amber than brown, but still, that's to block out sunlight in case you have a window in your pantry. I bought them for decor, though they were way too expensive at $7 per jar. I'm thinking I may drill a hole in a canning jar lid, it already comes with a lid and mount a battery-powered light in it and use it for a kitchen night-light.

The jars themselves were perfect. 1 quart wide mouth, I just wish the lid was of the one piece variety rather than the 2 piece type. Not a deal breaker as I purchased the one piece lid from Walmart as well. Perfect for my storage of colloidal silver! Price was very reasonable. highly recommended.
