Has done a great job so far!
We have had our fridge for 5 years, it has worked just fine. Recently one of the springs broke for the door flap. The GE website was easy to navigate to find the part and order it. This fridge is a counter depth model, we needed that feature to make it workable in our kitchen. The shallow depth makes it easier to not lose food in the back.

A wonderful addition to my kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity, functionality and certainly the beauty of the Café refrigerator is exceptional. It's well designed inside and out. I love the black matte finish with the brushed stainless handles. My next purchase will be the Cafe microwave as well as the slide in range to match the refrigerator. Also beautiful and well-made!

Trim is too fragile
I love this cabinet depth refrigerator/freezer combo. I love GE Apliances in general and have the whole kitchen suite plus a washer and dryer from them. I did remove one star because the trim around the doors, especially on the freezer, has broken off. It's very fragile. I think the design or the material composition of the trim is at fault.
