The LX1500GU uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends battery life. I've bought before for computer power, power usually last several hours until battery gets old, used first one bout 4 years now battery needs changed, I would like battery to be easier to change out like portable radio or flashlight, not taking almost completely apart, kind of hard to change battery, I have bought again does work.
