The CV3440 is an advanced cover stitch machine that allows you to create a wide range of cover stitches on many types and weights of fabric for both decorative and constructive applications. It features single-sided tri-cover stitches, wide cover stitches,and narrow cover stitches, as well as the chain stitch. Other highlights include a large work space, free arm, thread cutter, LED light, color-coded easy looper threading, and snap-on feet. The adjustment dials for stitch length and differential feed are now conveniently located on the right-hand side of the machine. With three needles and one looper thread, the CV3440 can create professional hems, chain stitching, and decorative stitching.
- Comfortably Work on Projects: The Brother CV3440 features an extra-large 6.1" x 3.9" workspace, which provides ample free space surrounding the needle. The LED light adds not only brightness, but reduces the heat put off by a standard light bulb. Plus, the differential feed and the stitch length adjustments are conveniently placed on the right-hand side of the cover stitch machine.
- Fast & Reliable: Sew up to a quick 1,000 stitches per minute. And, with the chain stitching, this cover stitch machine can make a 1-needle, 2-thread chain stitch. An accessible thread cutter is available for added efficiency, and the one-touch tension release lever will help you lift the presser foot to release all the thread tensions for easy fabric removal. The tensions remain open until you lower the presser foot again for ease of use.
- Free Arm: Add professional finish on hems with the free arm feature of Brother CV3440 serger, easily sew neckline, hemlines, and cuffs.

Es muy útil pero se dificulta regular la tensión para las telas elásticas o de punto. Las instrucciones son muy básicas. Ofrecen curso gratis pero nunca me llamaron para agendarla.

Getting use to
2 things that I think needs to improve. How to remove the material. It's not easy to remove the material unless you open the door and disengage the looper thread. 2nd threading the needle area. The threads don't stay separated in their slots or behind the bar. I may return it soon.
